Laura Szumowski received her BFA degree from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2006, with a concentration in graphic books. In 2005, Laura completed an internship with Chicago-based graphic novelist Paul Hornschemeier, and has assisted Paul in coloring the series "Omega Man of Mystery" for Marvel comics. Currently, Laura works at Black Hole Press, just for fun!
Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Laura currently resides in Chicago with her tiny steeds, Jasper and Twinkie.
